Social Mobility webinar: The Many Roads to Pupillage – 30th March 2022. We were delighted to welcome two of the Bar Council’s Social Mobility Advocates, Jack Meeks and Andrew Dakoutros to speak alongside Gaynor Wood (BACFI Chair) and Ian Brookes-Howells (BACFI Senior Vice Chair). Jack and Andrew both work in the Government Legal Department and, like both Gaynor and Ian, have overcome various barriers to achieve a fulfilling career at the Employed Bar. All speakers outlined their career path and showed the importance of taking any opportunity that’s offered and that perseverance will get you there in the end! The slides are available HERE.
