Sharon Blackman OBE

Sharon is a Managing Director and General Counsel in Citi’s General Counsel’s Office Markets and Securities Services division. An English law qualified Barrister and NY Attorney, Sharon has worked for Citi since 2004. Sharon sits on Citi’s EMEA Legal Diversity Committee and represents EMEA on Citi’s Global Legal Diversity Council. As chair of the Citi EMEA Pro Bono Committee she was delighted to accept the award for In-House Pro Bono Legal Team of the year, Trust Law Awards 2015.

David Bunting

David is head of Sales & Trading Legal at Deutsche Bank AG London. He was called to the bar in 1998, and initially worked at a City law firm, before moving in-house in 2004. He has a special interest in professional issues affecting employed barristers. David is also trustee of a charity which seeks to alleviate financial hardship.

James Kitching

James Kitching was elected to the Employed Barristers’ Committee of the Bar Council in 2014. He is an employed barrister and an international disputes partner based in the London office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. James practices in complex, high-value commercial litigation, international arbitration and cross-border investigations. He regularly represents some of the world’s leading corporations, banks and other financial institutions. Through his work on the EBC and through other forums, James is committed to promoting the Employed Bar as a whole and, in particular, establishing more pupillages within industry.
